Hi,

Duel boot usually is achieved by installing two different versions of 
an OS, "operating system",  on the primary drive with a program to 
intercept the boot process and ask which OS you want to boot in to. 
Not having an OS on two drives and trying to boot separately. The 
CMOS settings are to choose boot sequence and attributes of individual drives.
