Hi All Well we started to screw together the flat pack kitchen unit we designed, and I was very surprised at the professional way it was presented to us. Each part was labelled so pieces could not be installed where another should be and sets of screws labelled so screwing was made easy. It is really three sections draws one end and two sections of double dors. The draws these days have metal sides with fronts backs and bottoms of wood. The top has a rolled under laminex top, of our colour choosing, and everything fits perfectly. Each section sits on adjustable legs which screw up or down to give you the exact level required. We had to cut out for the sink but when you buy sinks a template comes along which you can trace the outline to be cut. We sealed all exposed cuts with Bond Crete which should stop water penetration. We used our stud finder to find the studs and screwed it to the wall. We used No More Nails to secure the splash back to the wall for we did not want any screws showing. The only thing except the plumbing to go is the kick at the bottom which I am leaving off until power is installed into the middle section for the Zip Water Heater. The handles have been installed and the whole unit looks a million dollars. Now come the plumbing which will be a large undertaking on it's own for a trench has to be dug and a section of concrete cut out so the water pipe can be run up and across the yard. My impression of Flat Pack Kitchens is that if you pick a Professional Manufacture and are prepared to pay for Quality Product that is what you get. I will let you know what happens with the Plumbing when it happens.
