  Larry
Not sure but I think I get your point.
With oil and antifreeze , one is not more important than the other, they
just have each there own function.
  Look forward to the show.

  Robert,

To put this thing in to a bodily perspective, (Oil or
coolant) would you rather go without blood or Oxigin?
  Regards

Hay Larry So very glad to hear you are going to be a guest.
I was hoping they would be able to rope you into it some
day. I am going to put this one on a CD to keep. You
mentioned fluids bumper to bumper. Hope you can put some
emphasis on the coolant system. Next to oil I believe that a
low, or clogged coolant system can destroy a perfectly good
engine as quick as any thing. Just my unprofessional 2 cents
worth. As many of you that have read my posts know I spent
all last summer chasing down leaks in the coolant system on
my little s10. It is a good thing that I was keeping a close
watch on it because now I have a problem with the temp gage.
The up side is that I now have a perfectly sealed system. I
no longer am loosing a drop. and given the age and
condition of the truck I have decided to just continue to
moniter the coolant and drive the weels off of it.and not
put any more money into it accept for ruitine maintenance
like oil changes and brake pads and tires as needed. When
she pukes she pukes. I havbe had a great run with this
truck. For $750 I have gotten almost 2 years and 15,000
miles without ever being left stranded once. Big reason I am
going to pull most of the life support is that the body is
finally starting to take a nose dive. Best regards.

  Robert

  Hi Guys,

Well here is your chance to get even...
Don has invited me to participate in his weekly discussion
show. We will be talking about seasonal automotive service
and Maintenance. I am going to note a few areas that I
believe are particularly important and hope you folks can
take this list and expand on it.

  1. Fluids bumper to bumper.

  2. Belts, boots, Barings and brakes.

  3. air-conditioning and cooling systems.

  4. Warm weather and shock absorbers.

  5. Q and A.

  Regards

  Larry Stansifer
