Spiro I am no authority on the subject of ionization. Seems to me that from what I have read here, the verdict is still out. You would have to do your own research and decide for your self. From what little I have learned, If you only run these units when you are not in the room I can't see what harm they would be. I think o3 is not very stable so any bad affects would dissipate quickly. Again what I say is just based on what little I have heard over the years. Just some things to consider when doing your own research. All the units I have seen are more than I am willing to pay so I have not bothered to do any heavy research for myself. Robert
