Robert, It is a slower process than I thought. I got an unfriendly reply to my inquiry back from, of all people, Infinity. No need to buy one of those. Ford, Saab, and others allow a download if you have a VIN and are the owner of a specific vehicle. I'll keep you up to date. This is something I'd like to pursue actively as time allows. They don't make it easy.
