Hi Clifford, Well, my 27-year-old daughter Karen really is into learning whatever she can about doing things yourself. She went to a Home Depot class about changing faucets and was completely confident that she could take the old one off and put the new one on. However, we ended up having to call a plummer as she didn't have the strength to get the old one off, which was probably put in when the house was first built. If I remember right, he had quite a time himself. I'm glad Karen has that attitude though. One can save a lot of money that way.
By the way, I think our kitchen floor is called a floating floor. It has a pad attached underneath each tile. We did ask several people at Lowe's if anything had to be done before laying it, like removing the previous floor, and they all said no. Linda [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
