Lenny. well as of now my washer and dryer are on a lower level which I cannot get to but I did take to heart how wash could have been done " back in the day" . actually years ago we used to keep an old wringer washer on the back porch to use for washing scatter rugs and the dog blankets. and just like your article or story the wash water went into the flower beds or garden. thanks for the good chuckle.
