Hi B H M ers.

Today I hung a temporary light socket, from the wires, and got lights on in
the shop. I actually had power to the box yesterday although I had a little
scare. I checked for power with my trusty Simpson 260 and didn't get any
readings. After testing for power at the house end of the wires, using a
different meter, I found I had plugged the test leads into the wrong jacks.
When you plug one lead to 5000 DC and the other to 5000 AC you don't get
even a small reading. That's what my friend John Smith calls a short
between the head sets. After connecting the meter right I found 125 and 250
exactly where they were supposed to be.

Regards.
