I cannot pick up a good used mower at a yard sale for ten bucks either.
One of my" old reliables" back in the 70's was one you flip over the
handle on thop of the mower. crank it up flip the handle over and hit
the release button. vvaarrrrooom. .Okay. lets tell our ag. my first
power mower I used as a kid in the very early 60's. was a mower owned
by a Lady I did yard work for. you had a rip cord with a little wooden
handle. and a knot at the end of that rip cord. wrap it around the fly
wheeel and yank. then run like the dickens to catch up to this reel
mower which had power wheels which used to rip up the lawn on damp
