I remember seeing something similar to what you are describing on one of the tool trucks. I'm thinking it was Mac tools. In the mean time if you can find a 3/8 diameter cylindrical magnet you can fit it into a piece of 3/8 rubber fuel hose as long as you would like it, shove a dowel in the other end for a handle and make do with it. Well, I remembered that I lent it to a friend and he has no idea where it is. This tool is about 40 years old. Any ideas what the correct name is for it and where I can find a replacement? My wife got the screw out using some gum and a long thin piece of scrap wood.
