I picked up a basin wrench a few months back.  I didn't have a need for 
one at the moment, but it is one of those tools that when you need it, it 
is handy as hell.

the one I have has a head that has a flexible jaw that is spring loaded so 
it can open and close to fit most common sizes.  It has a long square 
shaft and a sliding cross-bar at the bottom end of the shaft.  With the 
head being able to flip over 90 degrees to the shaft, it makes it quite 
easy to get into tight places.
