Greetings all, I remember in our very first home . a place built in the late 1800's. We needed a new wall outlet in the kitchen and all I could find in the store was a three prong plug type of outlet. the one which I was pulling out of the wall was of course for two prongs and I remember it because both wires were wrapped in cloth.. I did that in one other part of that house but always wondered if someone would get zapped or a fire could happen. Mistakes I now know should not be repeated. Lee
