Dear List members:
When my father-in-law was alive, he used a unique method to build fence.
He owned a Case 350 track loader and when he built new fence, he would simply
pick a day when there was some moisture in the soil and then have a helper
stand up right, a wooden post and he would then use the bucket on the loader
to drive the post in to the ground. Cedar posts would not work, as they tended
to split apart when so much pressure was placed on them.
I can just see it now, you go down to your local heavy equipment dealer and
tell him you want to rent a fence building track loader.

                Yours Truly,

                Clifford Wilson
