Dear Dale:
I don't have a cure for your thermometer, but I can commiserate with you.
I own a cousin to your modern miracle, and when it takes a notion, usually in
the dead of night, the thermometer begins to give me a freeze or ice warning.
The model does have a switch that allows one to receive a warning when the
temperature drops below 32 F. or 0 C., but when the outside temperature is in
the sixties, I really don't need an ice warning. I believe I have the cure for
this one, and it involves a hammer.

                Yours Truly,

                Clifford Wilson

Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Indoor Outdoor thermometer failure?

Anyone had this happen?

One of my talking indoor/outdoor thermometers has gon a little silly. When
announcing the temperature it proudly proclaims

The indoor temperature is beep beep
The outdoor temperature is beep beep

Seems to be the same temperature in Celsius as in Fahrenheit

Any idea about how to get it announcing the digits in English again?

Thanks.
