I presume that, for example, you want to cut a 2x6 into two 1x6 boards? If that is the question, then no, I have not tried this with a band saw. I have, however, cut down a 1x5 board into two 1/2x5 boards using my table saw. It just took two passes to do it. Cy, the ancient oKie...
