Subject: [BlindHandyMan] blind handyman show talking about light bulbs

I heard on your show that some people are using screwdrivers and pliers
for light bulbs to remove the broken light bulb sockets or face. My
father and I just got done speaking about this and he informed me that
there is a tool called a light socket remover. You should be able to
pick them up at any hardware store or you can cut off a wooden broom
handle and insert it and turn the broom handle in the direction that the
socket comes out. You may have to use a little pressure to turn it
out. BY ALL MEANS, NEVER INSERT A SCREW DRIVER OR A PAIR OF PLIERS IN
TO THE SOCKET. If you are doing this outside there could be enough
moisture to make you see the time of day or electracute you.

Here is another good note. On outside extension cords if you wind them up
around your arm make SURE THEY ARE UNPLUGED.--
