Max, Hope this helps.
MDO Plywood
Called MDO, or medium density overlay, it's engineered plywood with a resin
treated fiber applied to both faces. This gives an extremely smooth finish
that is easy to paint. In addition it's rated for exterior use, which means
it is safe from the elements, insects, or other outdoor hazards, making it
a perfect choice for the new deck or porch.

Everyone on the BHM list is good about answering questions. I asked this
before and come to think of it I don't recall seeing it come out on the
list. I guess it got lost somewhere in cyberspace.

The question. What is MDO plywood. I did look for it in Ray's list of
abbreviations and didn't find it.

Also, has anyone ever heard of sandeply. It's a light colored extremely
smooth plywood.

Regards.
