I did notice that the neighbors were in tears as I tore out the duck tape. smiling ----- Original Message ----- From: Bob Kennedy To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, November 28, 2007 9:10 PM Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] The Sagging drawer
Sounds very effective. But you just lost your card to the redneck repair club. Taking out duct tape is never an option among redneck repair folk. ----- Original Message ----- From: RJ To: Handyman Sent: Wednesday, November 28, 2007 8:11 PM Subject: [BlindHandyMan] The Sagging drawer Was at my neighbors, when my wife notice one of the kitchen drawers was sagging. The right bracket was broken in the back where they had the two pieces held together with some kind of plastic clip and when that broke the neighbor used duck tape on the thing. Here is what I did to fix the problem. I shimmed the space between the bracket and glued and screwed the shimmed to the side panel of the cabinet. Fit the two pieces of the rail of the bracket together and screwed the rail toward the back in one of the holes in the bracket to the shim. That solved the problem of the sagging drawer.
