are any of you folks using a Monitor Kerosene heater. the ones with a direct exhaust to the outside , the pipe looks like the original V W bug e tail pipes? those monitor heaters are supposed to use only what was called white kero. what I did not know, but it makes sense is many neighborhood delivery trucks like the ones from Agway have sometimes three different tanks in that truck. so say Dan gets a regular kerosene delivery of whatever amount, say 275 gallons. then they come to my house and I want the white stuff. well I get whatever is leftover from Dans delivery, what was left in the hose and nozzle. so now I have that few gallons from the hose and that mix's into my more pure white kerosene. that creates a problem as then instead of maybe once a year, one might have to clean that copper element at the right side of the monitor heater more often and it might misfire and go out during one of these very cold nights. just a fyi on deliveries.
