I scanned my manual I can't seem to find it just this minute though. I am off
for a shower then a little walk up town to get some masking tape and a bit of
this and that, should be able to get it to you around noon if I still have it.

There isn't really anything to know though, the blade release is a slide on the
centre of the hub you just slide out and turn like a crank while holding the
lock button down, it is located on the top of the saw just inside the inner
edge of the blade guard.

There is a lever behind the motor near the guard to release to raise and lower
the blade and one at the outer edge just in front of the motor housing I think
to release the bevel angle.

There is no safety switch lock, you squeeze until the trigger trips and the saw
comes on.

There is a sort of elbow pipe at the front of the blade guard you can rotate to
direct the stream of sawdust more or less where you might like it to go. Turned
around to face into the guard will eject most of the stream behind the saw. You
can connect a vacuum to this I don't have anything that would fit and since I
do most of my cutting of that sort of thing outside I don't much care. Inside I
am too lazy to drag all that stuff out for a cut or two so I just walk through
the dust until I have tracked enough of it into a convenient place to sweep it
up, usually under the kitchen table where my Janet wet/dry will eventually get
it.

My only disappointment, and I never thought of it at the time is that there is
no electronic break as there is on several saws now. While it isn't a big deal,
I have never had one before and the one on my Makita sliding compound mitre saw
is intermittent at best, somehow i believe I would have liked one on the MAG
saw.

I really like the weight and the thin kerf blade that comes with it is really
quite remarkable. Mine just walked through three full ganged thicknesses of
3/4ths hardwood plywood full length cuts like it wasn't there.

For me though the real selling point is no blasted wrench for blade change. Why
someone didn't come up with that before now is beyond me. It isn't that I
change blades all that often it is just the convenience and intelligence behind
that solution I felt this need to reward the manufacturer who finally came up
with it. You are warned not to tighten the blade down too tight and I think
this is correct, that device grabs like your wife's ugly sister. You won't get
it off once firmly attached.

There are manuals available online often times in the PDF format. I did a
quick search this morning and didn't come up with one quickly but when I
have a little time I'll look again. A lot of time places like Rockler will
have the manual hidden in their web site and you stumble on it by
  accident...
