Thank you all for the advice. I would like to thank the gentleman who recommended the "Rat Zapper". I googled the name and found that lots of other people like them too. I almost bought one at Home Depot for $49.95. This was Victor's version though. I don't know who sells the locally. Before going, I checked my Victor trap and viola -- the door was closed. I turned the door and red showed, indicating that it was occupied. It was that kind like they advertise on TV that you wind up and the mouse rides on a merry-go-round, then experiences never-ending colosterfobia. I almost gave up on that. Sever days with no success. Then I emailed Victor and the lady told me to rub just a little peanut butter in the entrance way and inside. She said not to put enough to show, just to give the smell. That way the mouse follows his nose clear into the inter chamber where the trigger is. It worked. If I have any more problems though, I will buy the "Rat Zapper". Those that spin around are 4.99 for two, so the electronic kind would pay for itself soon. The other poster is correct to an extent about sealing off ways to get in. That will help some but if they are persistent enough they will knaw a hole somewhere. Poision works good in my garage. I didn't want to use it in my house though because my guest was permanently in in my house, and would die and stink up the place if I poisioned him, I was afraid. That happened when I was in junior high. They had to tear a wall out before they found it. We kids liked it though, because we got two days off from school. ---Anthony
