Hello Guy, Things sure have come along a long way. When my kids were using the baby swing I had to wind it up with a hand crank on the side. Now in answer to your question you would require a 6V power supply. The best way to purchase it is to go to an electronics store and tell them what you want to do and they will find the correct match. A better way, in my humble opinion, is to use rechargeable batteries. I would check out the new hybrid ray-o-vac. They are cheaper than LI batteries and better than NI batteries. Over the life span of the rechargeable it is estimated that over $1,000 will be saved. Also you will not need extension cords for the baby's swing if you want to put it anywhere but next to an outlet. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Guy" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, December 28, 2007 8:03 AM Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Replacing batteries with a transformer
Greetings to all: Just bought a swing for my newborn but it only uses 4 D cell batteries. I want to rig an electrical transformer to replace those expensive batteries. Anyone know the proper DC current level I should be looking for?
