I found out something last week when I went into our local tool and
electrical supply house. Things are always changing in tools and stuff.
Anyway I asked the people what they had in low speed drills, I wanted to
purchase a set for my new son-in-law to go along with the drill he was going to
get for Christmas.
They informed me they no longer carry them, slow speed drill bits are on
their way out. I thanked them and went to Lowe's, same thing. I ended up
getting him a set of high speed cobalt coated bits. Forty kinds of different
sets by brand, make-up and coatings. I got the cobalt made by Cobalt.
I was wondering if others have found this to be the case where they live?
