I believe the only change in the coax in the last number of years is a higher shielding percentage in the outer braid. Just try it and see what happens. Ron ----- Original Message ----- From: Lenny McHugh To: Handyman-Blind Sent: Friday, December 28, 2007 3:00 PM Subject: [BlindHandyMan] TV cable
Does anyone know if they changed the wiring requirements for cable TV. We have HD TV in the living room and my daughter's bedroom. When installed they replaced all of the coax. I have a cable running up to the spare bedroom on the 3rd floor. It has been there about 25 years and does not have the connecter ends. I planned to pick up a set of connectors. In my old radio junk box I found an old splitter . I do not plan to use HD up there just something that I can listen to the news or DIY while using another Christmas gift a full body messaging mat.Lenny http://www.geocities.com/lenny_mchugh/ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
