I found this to be quite interesting. For Christmas I purchased a digital 
camera for my daughter. It came with alkaline batteries but I purchased the 
new Ray-o-vac hybrid. The alkaline batteries are 1.5V and the hybrid 
batteries are 1.2V. This camera actually has a setting to check if you are 
using alkaline or rechargeable.
I wonder how many other products have the setting to change the voltage from 
3V to 2.4V.
