Well I would guess any pipe cutter will cut tubing that it can fit over. A tubing cutter is built lighter in duty the adjusting screw is usually a knob, while the pipe cutter usually has a t handle for more leverage. Tubing cutters usually have a aluminum frame while the pipe cutter is likely cast iron. You can propably cut pipe with a tubing cutter but would have to go slower in terms of depth of cut each round . They make a very short tubing cutter for small work areas that doesn't have a handle and I think only set of rollars and I think max. capacity is barely half an inch.. Most tubing cutters don't have the capacity that pipe cutters do. Gues what I am saying is that they are very much the same one is just heavier and bigger.
