  The FAQ I read said that the stuff is workable for 3 or 4 seconds, can be 
  pulled apart for a bit longer, but after 40 seconds it is a done deal. It 
  has been tested from something like -40 to +240 F. Can be undone using 
  high heat. Cannot be used on coiled Copper tubing, just straight Copper. 
  Is rated for up to 500 PSI and tested up to 1000 PSI. Supposedly non 
  toxic. The only concern I would have at the moment is that it has only 
  been around for 9 years so far. I wonder how well it goes the distance.
