Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Table saw accuracy

Well guys,

I went back over and checked on my neighbor who is building some porch steps
and his stringers aren't quite as accurate as we first thought. They are
about 1/2" either side of the 10" specification. My question is is it
possible to I think the word is rip a thin strip of wood the length of the
tread? Probably somewhere in the 1/2" to 1" range so that the treads are all
square with the adjoining risers? and can this be done accurately with a
table saw?
Damn... I hope this makes sense. I feel like I am writing in a foreign
language.
