You'd have to know the requirement for minimum drain pipe to empty into. Most washers require a 2 inch minimum and usually a 2 and a half inch pipe to empty into. Also most towns have a minimum height code in place for the drain pipe as well Any "new" drain pipe in most cases has to be at least 24 inches above the floor. This is to stop the siphoning action that happens when the drain hose is too short.

I saw the hose that drains the water and it has a U type thing that makes the hose hang on the side of the sink, but when I looked closer I saw that this piece could be taken off and once you do this the hose becomes streight.
