Well hi folks, it is time again for another little do down in Houston. Many
of you have been here for a while and no what of I speak. We have done this
twice now, in 04 and 06 and this is 08 so, time again.
What we have done in the past is, gather at a hotel close to the airport in
Houston and mostly visit for a couple of days. O we play music, record a couple
of shows but mostly just get to no each other. Well yes along the way we do
lots of eating and even some drinking. Dale does cooking in the dark on
Saturday afternoon and feeds us some wonderful goodies. The restaurant is two
expensive but very good and we get in some bitching about that. Along the way
we might set off a fire alarm or two ant, maybe even tern out the lights for a
time. Friday night will be the blind rifleman's party and, starting at around
ninish Sunday night Carla will began the dancing party. Wow, after examining
it, we cram a lot in two and a half days.
What we don't do is listen to a lot of long boring speeches. O, I almost
forgot, we do a show and tell about blind stuff that is new or different.
All in all, I think we all had a hell of a good time doing what ever it is
we do.
Now, here is what I need from you who are interested or definitely coming.
The rooms will be around 75 bucks not including tax, the registration fee will
be 25$ per person again this year and, as I said, the food will be to
expensive. By the way, we are using the same hotel if they will have us. Wright
me off list at [EMAIL PROTECTED] so I can get some idea of how many rooms we
will need. I will have complete details for you all next week.
