I buy hand soap at Walmart, I'm sure it's available other places too. They sell a soap called Goop which isn't the same stuff used for getting off labels and other sticky junk. Goop comes in 1 pound and larger tubs and is much like Go Jo or the other hand cleaners. I take some Goop and rub it on my clothes and let it sit a few minutes then just send it through the wash. It's a good idea to wash your work clothes alone and then clean out the washer because there can be some grease or oil left behind on the side of the tub and then you won't know if your other clothes have stains.
I lived alone for about 13 years and that's how I did it. I have a sighted wife but ... Larry may be right. Which brings up the question. Why does divorce cost so much? Because it's worth it. ----- Original Message ----- From: Shane Hecker To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, April 22, 2008 4:13 PM Subject: [BlindHandyMan] lets not stain the clothes Well, unfortunately it's already too late for that because I've got stains on some of my clothes. Oil stains that is. Now being a total it's a little difficult to tell where those stains are, which obviously leads to the question. How do you get them out?
