Hi Shane, I do know that some on this list have done some plumbing successfully, even with the soldering involved.
I would also think that because of compression fittings being available, soldering isn't always needed as much as before. Lastly, apprentices here in Canada earn quite a bit of money above minimum wage, and, in fact, earn about three or four times as much, and we're talking kids fresh out of high school. Victor Gouveia
