Dear Lenny, Thank you for your email dated April 26, 2008. We appreciate you contacting us regarding your dust collector. The plastic bottom bags will work for your G1029 Dust Collector. Please be advised that the G1029 accepts 19" X 33" bags. As long as the diameter is the same, the length can be a little longer. Suction with the use of a bottom bag may be reduced; however, we recommend trying them and seeing if the change in performance is acceptable. The removal of the cyclone separator may increase the overall CFM of the G1029 Dust Collector as the use of a cyclone separator reduces the overall CFM of any dust collector.
