The brand of mower really doesn't matter as they all use a select few brands of engines.
I bought mine from Lowes, have no idea the brand. It has a 6.5 Briggs and Stratton engine, one of the select few engine brands. Stores like Lowes sell mowers and if anything goes wrong and needs repair they can't sell them as new any longer. I gave 100 for a new but repaired once mower. If you want the best thing for your lawn try to get a mulching mower. This clips the grass into smaller clippings and drops them back. It helps in a lot of ways not the least of which is helping to hold moisture in the roots. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jo Taliaferro" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, May 06, 2008 4:21 PM Subject: [BlindHandyMan] please recommend a reliable lawn mower > Hi There, > I have someone to mow my lawn this summer but don't know what brand of > mower > to buy.
