Just got back from a long walking trip. I can not get that episode of the show myth busters out of my head, where they were trying to come up with some alternative one person transport solution. They showed one seen, where one of the guys simply put some skates on his feet and strapped a leaf blower to his back. I think it worked, but control was an issue. The idea was back in my head yesterday morning when I heard that it was national bike to work day and the antidepressant addicted idiots who do the good morning America show were cutting up and bicycling for a few feet so as to get themselves on camera. I am sure they actually all arrived that morning in limacine. hahahahah, But... I could really see myself doing the leaf blower thing, if not for the noise. Appearance is something I try not to worry with, although, I am prone to it just as much as the next guy. But I can easily look like an idiot without even trying as I slide through mud, and cross streets crooked and end up in the middle of a street instead of at the corner on the other side. I always just try to cover that. Ehhh, I meant to do that, so I'll wander on up the block and just start walking down the next street. hahahahah. Ever forward, and, All roads lead to the same place... most times. Anyway, ever once in a while, I just get this bug about having some sort of workable transport. The kids who ride around on the new motorized skateboards around christmas time bum me out! I have echolocation, I have GPS guidance, I am comfortable with a lot of streets in my area. Lets strap a hair drier to my butt and get on with this already! It's just a matter of finding a working wheels set up. I need to shop the scooters and such and shut up already! I just haven't done it yet. Anyone else have these dreams? Matt
