Hello Lee! No, I am not burning the vanescoating at all. It is really nice stuff. If I would not be making storage out of the only two walls I am building, I would line the inside with it and give it a clear polyurethane coating. If I save enough on the outside with the roofing blanks for my vinyl siding base, maybe I'll screw it onto plywood from the back side for my door fronts on my storage spaces. I remember tearing out all the oak vanescoating in my kitchen years ago and have missed it's warm quality compared to new materials. The problem was I couldn't redo the kitchen with countertops and keep it. This shanty was used as a summer kitchen, as will the new deck area bringing back some old glory days long past. It is a shame I got rid of my mothers old kerosene cook stove with oven long ago, I loved that stove. I can remember walking to the general store with the bottles to get filled with kerosene from a hand pump behind the ice cream freezer. .....................bob
