They won't learn anything by going to the Freedom Scientific site concerning
ZoomText. They will learn about MAGic there. For ZoomText go to

Come on!

Couldn't someone just say for example that Zoomtext is a screen magnifier
programme which enlarges a portion of the screen so that people with lo
vision can see what is in the area magnified and perhaps that they should go
to the Freedom Scientific Web site for more details rather than promoting
one of the mailing lists?

Certainly the posting was not specifically on list but surely it can remain
at least a minimally helpful community.

Hello Beth,
Great question wrong list.
This list is not designed for software related questions.
I am sure you will find all of the information that you need on the blind
computing list. You can join that list from

Someone just recently suggested that I start using Zoom Text, a screen
reader. Does anyone use this? What do you think of this software program
(pros and cons)? Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,
Beth
