He just said that the dispenser should work on most units. Before I 
disconnect I would first go and see the dispenser. you could get a very good 
idea if it would work. The one that he mentioned is a chrome model.

I know price isn't everything. But mine is a three stage unit, and
supposedly does everything short of distilling.
Could he advise anything about the faucets?
My filter is a 3 part system. It does all but distill, I believe.
