Bill, OK, I'll fess up on how we got the hands set. You are supposed to hold down the button, after several seconds you will feel a pulse. Keep holding the button down for like another ten seconds, you will feel another pulse.
Then, you, as in a sighted person, have to hold your finger down to set the hour hand, if I remember correctly, holding you finger between the 10 and 11 will move the hour hand counter clockwise. Holding it between the one and two will move it clockwise. For the minute hand, holding your finger between the 7 and 8 moves the minute hand counter clockwise and between the 4 and 5 moves it clockwise. Then, you push the button again and that is supposed to set it in stone. However, Teresa found that when she pushed the button, the stupid hands would move to a different time. So, she adjusted where she would initially set the hands so that when they moved after she pressed the button, they moved to the place she wanted them. I may have gotten which clock positions move the hour and minute hands in which directions, but a sighted person should be able to figure that part out. -- Blue skies.
