another comment on Water witching I also have use a tree branch to locate underground water. Both my father and I used to be able to do this. almost 30 years ago we both pick the same spot where we had the water well drilled. When he asked me to see what I could find I was drawn to the same spot twice he told me. Unknown to me he marked the spot.
