Hi,
i've asked about this before.
At one time i purchased a set of bars that went horizontally across the
full length screen in my luverred (spelling?) storm door.
They were great as a shoulder could contact them when carrying something
out the door, yet they didn't get in the way of removing this 4 ft long
screen when replacing with the storm pane in the winter.
The sun dried and cracked the plastic holder of these bars, and after poxy
was needed a second time I removed them.
The door now needs the mechanism to open and close the luverrs.
I love this dorr as it can be a fully open storm door with the luverrs
when it is raining buckets and fresh air can still come in. I am really
fond of this style.
But I need to know where to locate,
the internals for the gear work that opens and closes the luverrs.
I was also wondering if anyone has seen a set of bars that go across the
width of a storm door, as to keep folks from even pushing on the glass or
screen.
Please help.
