Jim, Consider "Break Free CLP," it comes in a spray can with one of those flexi nozzles and it does a great job of both lubricating and dissolving powder residue. It is available in any gun-shop, sporting goods store and even some independent hardware stores. hi I may be able to get a brush in there not sure as the space isn't that long. and yeah I know about cooking oil, yuck.
