Here is a tip that I learned many years ago. To remove the golf type handle on a wcib cane use about 5 pounds of air from your compressor. It will start to make the handle break away from the metal tube. After you remove it and make the repair use liquid soap as a lubricant and glue to hold the rubber handle back on. When the soap is wet it will allow the handle to easily slide on and when it dries it becomes tacky acting as a glue.
