I use a folding 5 section cane for most travel around a lot of people, especially when car travel is included. During my walks that I take up the hill where I live, I use a telescoping aluminum. I use it shorter up hill and longer down hill to meet my needs. Both have the roller ball which allow it not to get stuck in crap so much. I wish they would make a larger roller ball for greater uneven surfaces. ...................bob
