I have a Canadian currency recognition machine for identifying bank notes which was acquired probably fifteen years ago. Of course our money now has that stupid embossed coding which disappears within moments of leaving the bank or landing in a pocket now so presumably the Bank of Canada no longer updates the machine but I thought I would ask just in case this device or another like it can be had to recognize modern money. Does anyone know? Thanks. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
