A year or so ago I purchased some cabinet screws that have both a square drive and Phillips screw head. I first thought it was great that I could use either type of screw driver. I normally prefer the square drive. Anyway the other day I was working on something that had Phillip head drywall screws. I lost one of the screws and grabbed a cabinet screw. When I tightened the screw with the Phillips head I destroyed the screwdriver. although it was the correct size most of the screw driver went into the square hole leaving only a small part to grip the screw. It really mangled the tip of the screwdriver. Thankfully it was one that had a lifetime replacement. I will be careful never to use the Phillips drive with these screws again.
