Hi All, Just a little update for all that are coming to the gathering next weekend... As ya know, Blind Mice Mart will be throwing a party Friday night for Blind Rifle Association Members! If you have a Blind Rifle hat or shirt, wear it! If you have a Too Much Sex Causes Blindness, wear it! If you have a Braille Read with more feeling shirt wear it! If you have a Speak Up I am Blind shirt, wear it!

Gals, wear those Blind Handygirl shirts too! Now back to the party... Hurricane Ike put a damper on the shrimp. The storm caused a lot of raw sewage to be dumped into the bay and gulf down here. It has been recommended that the shrimp and seafood from the gulf not be eaten for a while. So bad news, no shrimp... That just means another course of action! We will have the fixings to make a batch of Italian Margaritas up for all to share and I have some other options in mind... I will be bringing some Sweet Jalapeno Pickles that you must enjoy...but you will have to beat Phil to them... our menu for the Cooking show on Saturday has changed a bit too due to the shrimp issue... I am looking to go Mexican on ya'll so pack some tums, rolaids, or whatever allows you to enjoy spicy food! Now, if there is anything from Blind Mice Mart you would like, please let me know in advance. I am not planning to bring much as I have to leave mid day Saturday for a weeding and then my Halloween Party, our 25th year!
