is your dish near trees? If so you have to have a clear view of the southern sky. I have directv for 5 years and love it. There is so much you can get with a dish that cable just doesn't come close. I had comcast but there cable was so fuzzy i ripped all their stuff and replaced it with dish and love it. You can clso get descriptive video service with dish network where they will describe the shows to you.

Prior to that, we had DIRECTV for about 3 years! The one thing we like with Dish is that we only have to have one receiver, and we have two sets! With DIRECTV, we have to go back to having two, if we choose to change back! Does anyone know why this might be? I hate to spend the extra $5 per month, for the leasing of the second receiver!
