Well I ordered the vip1000 from talkingthermostats.com. It was a little more money but after talking to the manufacturer I am convinced it is a good product. It has a money back guarantee, lifetime warranty. Unlike the kelvin is not vulnerable to loud noises. It seams easy to install for me only two wires and it doesn't matter which one goes where. Also the unit does not have to be perfectly level It is totally accessible and comes with a cd instructions. It was $129.99 with $10 shipping. Runs on 4 aa batteries that should last 2 years.
