Yes, heat pumps and I'd imagine most any furnace that has a transformer is still using a slight bit of current. I can hear the transformer in my heat pump humming very quietly when the switch at the thermometer is turned to the off position. On Oct 25, 2008, at 9:59 AM, Tom Fowle wrote:
